Self-rising Flour
Self-rising flour (sometimes called self-raising flour) is all-purpose flour that has a leavening agent such as baking soda or baking powder already blended in. Self-rising flour is not typically used by professional bakers, but it can be useful in the home and is often sold in supermarkets.
Ingredients
- 220 g (1 cup) flour
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients to combine.
- Store in an air-tight container in a cool, dry environment.
