Cream Soda
Cream soda is popular in the United States, but is rare in other parts of the world. However, Americans do not consume cream soda as frequently as other sodas. This soda recipe originates from Flavorlab.
Ingredients
- 1½ tsp (7.5 ml) vanilla extract
- ½ cup (120 ml) water
- ½ cup (120 ml) white sugar
- Carbonated water, as needed
Instructions
- Combine the vanilla extract, water, and sugar in a pot.
- Boil the mixture until it reduces to about 5 oz (150 ml) syrup.
- To make the finished soda, combine 1 volume of syrup with 5 volumes of carbonated water.
